Culan mountain is part of the Diablerets massif. As most mountains in the Diablerets massif, it has a very characteristic and impressive appearance.

The mountains in this region have so much character. It is hard to stop shooting, especially in Winter! It's one of those places that makes my heart beat faster and it just puts a grin on my face that usually won't fade for days! Here's a black & white photograph of one of my favorite mountains of the region: the Schluchhorn.

A mysterious dark flower

Nature

Braun

Close-up

Flower

Macro

Nikon D3x

Photography
<guid

You never know what you run into and it provides a great alternative for when the light is not ideal for doing landscape work. Here's an example of a flower I ran into when I was hiking along an alpine meadow last August. To be honest, I don't have a clue what type of flower it is and in what flowering state it was. So , please do drop me a comment if you know!

Feeling small

Landscape

B&W

Clouds

Fog

Lake Geneva

Nikon D3x

Photography

The Alps
<guid

The elves that live here were home.
