Although I love the winter, I am always happy when spring comes around again. Around the end of april, the flowers start growing and as a result alpine meadows start to turn yellow. At the same time, the trees start to get leaves again and alpine forests get to have a nice coat of dark and bright green colors.
This week, I went for a couple of hikes in Bas-Intyamon in the Gruyère region in Switzerland, to enjoy spring time. I have just uploaded some photographs to the new Spring in Bas-Intyamon (Switzerland) gallery. Here are some of the images:

Estavannens in spring time, with a meadow with flowers in the foreground and pine trees and a rocky mountain top in the background. The sky is blue but cloudy.
Some of the photographs also ended up in my Alpine countryside gallery, which features all things that are typical for the country side in the Swiss alps: alpine meadows, flowers, cows, goats, barns, farmhouses, wood carvings and more.
