The Spitzhorn is a mountain of the Bernese Alps in the western part of the Swiss Alps. With an elevation of 2,807 m (9,209 ft), it is not the highest summit in the region. It, however, stood out the most on this beautiful winter day in the Swiss Alps. The light, snow and rising fog begged for a black & white presentation. The mountain range behind the Spitzhorn is visible despite the fog. As a result, depth is added to the photograph. “Just Breathe” seemed like a fitting title for this photograph of the Swiss Alps in B&W.
The Spitzhorn belongs to the beautiful massif of the Wildhorn. The viewpoint of this mountain landscape photograph is near the small town of Gsteig bei Gstaad in the Berner Oberland region of the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
