A dreamy spring flower: a Primula Elatior (Oxlip)

I am publishing a lot of flower photographs at the moment. Guess it’s the time of the year. Here’s another one: a macro photograph of a yellow Primula Elatior flower (called Oxlip in English). This flower grows in early spring and is quite small.

I do have a version of this photograph which has a lot more of the flower in focus. I prefer this one though, as the softness suites the type of flower very well, in my opinion. Let me know if you like it! All feedback is appreciated!

Please visit our Nature’s Detail photography portfolio to see more photographs that feature details found in nature. Or, check out our Flower Power photography theme.

Cheers, Johan 🙂
