Ireland has a rugged coastline, and you usually get four seasons in a day. Ireland is an excellent location for capturing moody coastal landscapes like this one, as a consequence of that. This minimalist Irish coastal landscape in B&W was photographed close to sunset on a day with rather moody weather. Soft sunset light warms the cliffs and the seagull sitting on top of it. A longer exposure time smoothened the ocean water. As a result, the pointy cliffs stand out much better. A black & white presentation and a square crop fit the scene and mood best.
The title “To the point” seemed to be a suitable title for this coastal landscape photograph. The cliffs in this Irish coastal landscape in B&W rise from the North Atlantic Ocean just off the coast near Slea Head. Slea Head is a headland on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry.
