This Norwegian coastal landscape features Kunna Island, which is a small island close to the coast of Lofoten, an archipelago in the county of Nordland in Norway. The scenery in Lofoten is stunning, especially in winter, with its coastal mountains, sheltered bays, beaches, and untouched nature. If you get the chance to visit, go for it!
The sunrise was calm and cloudy this morning. As a result, there were hardly any wrinkles in the water. The smooth water of the fjord and the clouds in the sky, in combination with a black & white presentation, create a beautiful minimalist and soothing look and feel. Furthermore, on close inspection, you will see two birds fly above the island. The viewpoint in this Norwegian coastal landscape is in one of the many sheltered bays along the coast of Lofoten. The photograph titled Soothing is from in the same bay.
