NiO Photography is a registered trademark of the NiO Foundation. The NiO Foundation is a charity that supports organisations that focus on improving the health and general well-being of children. Additionally, the foundation supports projects that help nature conservation around the world.
The foundation funds its efforts via donations as well as by:
- selling licences for the commercial and personal use of photographs;
- selling fine art prints;
- providing photography workshops & coaching, and;
- executing photography assignments around the world
The NiO Foundation uses all revenues generated via NiO Photography, as well as this web site, for charity. In the past years, the NiO Foundation supported the following charitable organisations: Pro Natura, Unicef, Kika, and WWF.
The NiO Foundation was founded in 2013. It has its offices in the Canton of Fribourg in Switzerland and is registered in the Swiss Trade Register under number CH-217.3.555.014-8.
