This Irish coastal landscape photograph features one of the Blasket Islands or Na Blascaodaí in Irish. The Blasket Islands are a group of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean, close to the coast of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland.
This photograph of one of the Blasket Islands in Dingle was taken from a higher elevation on Sybil Head. This atmospheric scene immediately caught the eye because of the mystical quality of the sky around the island. Hence the title “Mystical”. Heavy rain started to engulf the island, but the sun still managed to peek through and light the island.
It is almost always worthwhile to just head out in Ireland. You usually get four seasons in one day, and the scenery is beautiful, on the coast as well as in the countryside. Ireland is a perfect location for capturing atmospheric and moody coastal landscapes like this one. So, make sure to go there if you get the chance!. So, make sure to go there if you get the chance!
