The Lofoten Archipelago lies on the west coast of Norway within the Arctic Circle. The coastal mountains of Lofoten are breathtaking. This is especially the case in winter, because of how the coastal mountains stand out against the water of the Sea and fjords near Lofoten when they have snow on them. Besides that, Lofoten has beautiful sandy beaches and an in many parts untouched landscape. Make sure to visit when you get the chance!
It was a lovely day with fast-moving clouds when this mountain landscape was photographed. A longer exposure time smoothened the moving clouds as well as the water. The clouds were moving in the direction from where this view was. The clouds give the photograph a very dynamic look and feel as a result. Furthermore, it makes the coastal mountains of Lofoten stand out better. The black & white conversion makes the photograph nicely minimalist.
