Alternative names for the Anthyllis Vulneraria flower in this fine art flower photograph are common kidney vetch, kidney vetch, and woundwort. It is a medicinal plant native to Europe which flowers in the summer. The name Vulneraria means “wound healer”.
The Anthyllis Vulneraria flower is an excellent subject for flower photography. In this case, the vibrant yellow stands out very nicely against the darker background. A shallow depth of field was used to capture this fine art flower photograph. As a result, the photo has a bit of a dreamy look and feel to it. Hence the title “Dreamy Yellow”.
