This photograph highlights the beauty of the Canadian Rockies and in particular Banff National Park in winter with snow. As you can see, the park offers stunning and fairly untouched mountain scenery. Banff National Park is great for all sort of outdoor activities and landscape photography, especially when avoiding the summer crowds.
This is the Bow Valley Parkway, not that far from the town of Banff. It was late November and winter just coated the landscape with a fresh layer of snow. As a result, the scenery was simply breathtaking. Soft morning light warmed the bushes and trees in the foreground. Additionally, it lit the beautiful peaks of the Canadian Rockies in the back.
The title of this Canadian winter landscape is “Immaculate”. It seems to fit the purity of the landscape well. When you visit Alberta make sure to travel to Banff National Park, as well as the neighbouring Jasper National Park. Totally worth it!
