It was a great start of the day for photography in the Alps of the Swiss National Park (Parc Naziunal Svizzer). The viewpoint used for this autumnal landscape photograph is somewhere along one of the many hiking trails in the park. Clouds and rising fog created drama and the soft early morning light warmed the larch trees with fall colours sideways. The larch trees almost seemed golden as a result.
The Swiss National Park park is close to the town of Zernez in the Canton of Graubünden. It is part of the worldwide UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It is very well-known for its larch trees and beautiful alpine setting. Unsurprisingly, the park is an excellent location for hiking and landscape photography. A visit is highly recommended, especially in autumn if you like untouched nature and larch trees with fall colours like in this photograph. Also, you are likely to run into some wildlife as well.

Golden days indeed. The fall colours of these larch trees are really nice! You are lucky to live this close to the Alps!
