This Irish coastal landscape was photographed just after dawn at Kilfarrasy Beach, which is a beautiful sandy beach on the Irish Copper Coast in County Waterford. The Copper Coast is a great place for coastal landscape photography. It also is an area with sites and landscapes of international geological significance. As a result, it was declared a European Geopark in 2001 and a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2004.
The sunrise was beautifully warm and gentle when this photograph was taken. The sun lights the fog on the water sideways in a very subtle manner. Also, the clouds in the background had a wonderfully curved shape. All in all, this dawn at Kilfarrasy Beach was quite mystical and breathtaking. The scene begged for this minimalist and black & white presentation. It just seems to fit the mood best. Besides that, it makes the sea stacks and cliffs stand out better. If you look closely, you will see a bird flying away from the cliffs and sea stacks in this scene.

Thanks! Quite nice actually 🙂 Unfortunately I tend to forget publishing a colour version once I publish one in black & white. Will see what I can do and message you!
