Swiss countryside landscapes are gorgeous at sunrise and early in the morning in general. This especially applies in autumn and winter, when the light is a little less harsh. This swiss countryside landscape at sunrise, titled “Into the Light”, was captured along a farm road that connects the municipalities of Puidoux and Chexbrex in the beautiful Swiss Canton of Vaud. The countryside scenery there is quite varied and as a result picturesque.

This landscape scene immediately caught the eye because of the curved tracks in the freshly mowed farm field. Also, only the horizon has light. This combination leads the eye into the light shed by the sunrise and towards the trees on the horizon. So, “Into the Light” seemed an appropriate title for this photograph of a Swiss countryside landscape at sunrise. The field to the right is a sunflower field by the way.

This fine art photograph in black & white is part of our Countryside photography theme. The photo titled An Oak with Snow is another popular countryside photograph from this theme.
