The name of the mountain featured in this winter mountain landscape with snow is Spitzhorn. The Spitzhorn is a beautiful mountain of the Bernese Alps in the western part of Switzerland. The clearing fog gradually unveiled the snow-covered landscape on this sunny winter day in the Swiss Alps. Unsurprisingly, “Unveiled” seemed like a suitable title for this photograph.
The Spitzhorn is part of the impressive Wildhorn massif and is 2,807 metres (9,209 ft) high. The view captured in the photograph is in Gsteig, a small town near Gstaad in the Berner Oberland region in the Canton of Bern in Switzerland. The area is most certainly worth a visit. Not only for hiking and landscape photography but also for skiing. So go there when you get the chance!
