This lake landscape photograph was captured near Lutry, a small town at the shores of Lac Léman in Switzerland. Lac Léman, or Lake Geneva in English, is one of the largest lakes of Europe. Besides that, it is quite unique because it has the beautiful Alps as a background. You actually see the silhouette of the Alps in this minimalist photograph of a fisherman on Lac Léman.

The fisherman and his boat stand out nicely against the fog in the background. The photograph is in black & white. As a result, the minimalist and zen mood is enhanced a bit. This lake landscape photograph was captured early in the morning when the water of the lake was still relatively smooth. “A Day at the Office” seemed like a fitting title for this lake landscape photograph of a fisherman on Lac Léman.
