The Man-made theme consists of landscape photographs that contain something made by us humans. Great examples are a pier, a jetty, a lighthouse, a water tower, a barn, a wave breaker, a boat, etc.
The man-made subjects mentioned above are often a great foreground subject. As a result, they lead the eye into a wider landscape scene. Consequently, the composition often is much stronger. In other cases, they are the main subject in a minimalist style photograph. Make sure to also visit our Minimalist photography theme, in case you are interested in seeing more photographs with a more minimalistic style.
