This landscape photograph of the Irish coast in B&W was created using a longer exposure time. The seawater and clouds appear smoother as a result. Also, it creates a pleasing contrast between the smoothened white water and the darker greys in the rest of the photograph. Furthermore, it adds a mood that seems to fit the scene well. The viewpoint captured in this photograph was a slippery cliff that overlooks the rugged coast. Obviously, that cliff was Irish, hence the title “An Irish point of View”.
The slippery cliff was in Greystones or Na Clocha Liatha in Irish. Greystones lies on the shores of the Irish Sea near Bray Head in County Wicklow in Ireland. The rugged cliffs of Greystones beach are gorgeous and offer many excellent landscape photography opportunities. This photograph captures one of the beautiful viewpoints. Make sure to visit, if you get the chance! By the way, if you look closely, you will see that a freight ship dropped its anchor to the left on the horizon.

Still love this one Johan! It illustrates the ruggedness of the Irish Coast very well. The title makes my smile 🙂
