Less often is more! A longer exposure time smoothened the water of the North Sea as well as the clouds in the sky. The smoothening, in combination with the black and white presentation, makes the photograph more simple. Also, this combination creates a minimalist coastal landscape with a soothing and zen look and feel. The photo was captured at a relatively quiet moment, just before a rainstorm. Hence the title “Ending Silence”.
