This mountain landscape photograph is titled “High above the Clouds”. The Swiss mountain peaks in the photo are Dom, Nadelhorn, and Täschhorn and lie near the town of Zermatt in the canton of Valais in the southern part of Switzerland. All three mountains have a height of more than 4,300 metres (14,000 ft). With that, they are amongst the highest mountain peaks in Switzerland and Europe. The canton of Valais is a great region for hiking, ski touring as well as for mountain landscape photography.
High above the Clouds was captured just after sunrise from a mountain peak located in a different mountain valley. A band of clouds covered most of the valley below these peaks. The early morning light is warming the snow-covered mountain peaks sideways.

I love the mountains peeking out behind the clouds. Looks great with depth.
