This Swiss mountain landscape in B&W is titled “Mystic Mountain” and features a beautiful mountain with the name la Tsavre (Mont Ferret). La Tsavre is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, and it overlooks the Ferret valley in the beautiful Swiss canton of Valais. The elevation of the mountain is 2,978 metres (9770 ft). The viewpoint from which Mystic Mountain was captured, is near the small Swiss ski resort of La Fouly.
The rising fog blurs the details of parts of La Tsavre mountain a bit. As a result, the photograph has a distinct mystic look and feel. Undoubtedly, the black and white rendering adds to that mysterious look and feel. Therefore “Mystic Mountain” seemed to be an appropriate title for this mountain landscape in black & white.
