A scene in the Irish Sea that caught the eye immediately. Maybe because of its simplicity? Or because of its symmetry? Or was it because of how the four windmills, or wind turbines, stand out against the bright light on the horizon combined with the dark see and moody sky? Less often is more! Hence, an excellent example of minimalism in photography.
It was a wet and cloudy day when this photograph was taken. A longer exposure time smoothened the water of the Irish Sea as well as the clouds in the sky. As a result, the photo seems more soothing. The black and white processing complements the minimalist look and feel. The title “Teamwork” seemed quite fitting.
This coastal landscape photograph of the Irish Sea with the four windmills was taken near Arklow, in County Wicklow in Ireland. County Wicklow is a beautiful region in Ireland. Not only because of its coastline but also because of its beautiful countryside. A great place for landscape photography!

The thumbnail doesn’t do this one justice! Interesting in many ways!
