A macro photograph: Dandelion fruits reflecting sunlight

A macro photograph of the ripe fruits of a common dandelion flower. The Latin name for this flower is Taraxacum Officinale by the way. The sun softly lights the dandelion fruits, and the background has a lovely green colour. As a result, the dandelion fruits stand out nicely.

Told you I was going to come visit Johan! But I see I’ve already loved this one … I love it more today … staying in the moment!

That is the most attractive dandelion puff I have ever seen. Mostly I yank them out of my yard without a second thought, but this one is pretty. 🙂

Thanks Sarra. If you live in the Alps like I do and are surrounded by alpine meadows you give up on yanking them out as, there are too many. So plenty of opportunity to get a close look and experiment with the macro lens … and it’s not the easiest subject 🙂
